Neither you will remain, nor sorrow, nor anyone in this little town… I swear by the fragile bubble trembling at the edge of a river, and by the fleeting joy of a moment already gone— this sorrow, too, shall pass… Until all that remains is a memory. Moments come to us bare; never clothe the moment you are living in sorrow.

نه تو می مانی و نه اندوه و نه هیچیک از مردم این آبادی... به حباب نگران لب یک رود قسم، و به کوتاهی آن لحظهی شادی که گذشت، غصه هم خواهد رفت... آنچنانی که فقط خاطرهای خواهد ماند... لحظه ها عریانند، به تن لحظهی خود، جامهی اندوه مپوشان هرگز.
